Initial package costs include the photographers time and talent, and 30 hand edited digital images.

There is so much inspiration on Pinterest, but I usually recommend wearing neutrals and muted colours. Try to avoid more than one person wearing patterned clothing as multiple patterns easily clash with one another. Keeping it simple allows for the people to be the focus not just the clothing. For something like maternity photos, Mama could definitely wear something more dramatic since she is the focus anyway. For family photos, try to avoid more than one person wearing the colour black; while beautiful and slimming in person, it has a tendency to eliminate contrast and detail in your photos.

For a one hour session you will receive access to a private gallery where you choose your 30 favourite images for further editing. if it's to hard to choose you can upgrade to purchase your entire gallery.

If you're having a hard time choosing your favourites, your entire gallery can be purchased for editing and download for an additional $195.

It depends on what you want for your session. Indoor sessions usually take place in your home, however if you don't have enough light you can always borrow a family members home.

For outdoor sessions I will look for an outdoor location somewhere not too far from where you live. From there I will scout the best photo spots within that park or area.

You will receive your final images between 2-4 weeks but I will send you a sneak peek within a day or two of your session.

Outdoor sessions take place one and a half hours before sunset.

Indoor sessions usually take place late morning.

If there is a shot you really want me to get then you can you can definitely send me a reference photo but mostly I will set you up, get a couple of "smile and look at me" shots and then most of the shots will be of you interacting with one another and ignoring me. Basically just act like you like each other, pretty easy! Play, laugh, cuddle in close. I will move you around as necessary. And movement is great, it's okay (especially for your little ones) to move around. The movement makes the photos look more natural.

This depends on the time of year and how many other shoots I have booked. I have limited space in the week so the earlier you book, the better. That being said, some weeks are slower than others, so definitely send me a message and I will see if I can fit you in.

For maternity sessions I recommend booking for when you are 30-34 weeks pregnant.

If it looks like it is going to rain then we will be in touch earlier in the day to make a final decision. If we get rained out we will move your shoot to the next available day that works for both of us.

Yes! Your pet is welcome to join your session. If you do bring your pet then I suggest also bringing Grandparents or a friend to help hold the pet for the shots it isn't in.

I use minimal props when outside. Nature provides so many props on its own with kids picking up flowers or throwing rocks in the water.

For newborns I have some wraps/ swaddles that we will use.

If there is something specific that you would like to include then message me so that I can plan accordingly.

Sessions include immediate family only. Extended family are not guaranteed to make it into the final gallery. If you are interested in an extended family session then message me so we can arrange for that.

To book your session, you need to contact me. From there I will send you a form and you can tell me about your family and we can talk dates and see what I have available. A $200 non refundable deposit and your signed contract is required to finalize your booking.
